Dear Friend:
I am writing to personally to inform you that The Honorable District Judge Oscar Petite, my friend and yours, is seeking re-election for Magisterial District Judge in Pittsburgh. He represents the entire Downtown, Strip District, Uptown, and Hill District sections. In addition he hears cases city-wide in the municipal court for all criminal, housing and traffic complaints.
Judge Petite has someone opposing him, so we are asking all of his personal friends, family, and associates, for a contribution. Judge Petite has served 23 years on the bench hearing matters in the following courts: civil, criminal, arraignment, traffic, non-traffic, domestic violence and childs court. He has helped us throughout the years, and now he needs your help.
Judge Petite is a lifelong resident of Pittsburgh’s Hill District where he graduated from Fifth Ave High School, then attended, Carnegie Mellon University earning a dual degrees in Psychology and Administration & Management. He later earned his Juris Doctoral Degree in Law from Duquesne University School of Law. He is married to Sheila and has two children and four grandchildren.
